Stinging Nettle • Tincture

Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) is a perennial mineral-rich herb that grows throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. It gets its name from the “sting” experienced when your skin touches it. 

That same stinging effect can be used to treat arthritis and soft tissue injury by literally stinging the affected joint or muscle. The little hairs act as hypodermic needles, delivering histamines and other chemicals that produce the stinging sensation.

Nettles are fantastic for inflammation and allergy relief, as well as packed full of protein, vitamins, and minerals. It can be cooked like a spinach. All parts of the plant are medicinal, with the roots being great for enlarged prostate (BPH).
